Rebekka comes from a wealthy background, but her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Mona. After running away from home, Rebekka finds herself in Mona’s alternative housing community. Here she is confronted with questions about what really matters in life.
Linda Bournane Engelberth (b. 1977) is a Norwegian-Algerian visual artist working with photography, installation, and film. After spending several years in Mexico, she adopted the camera as her primary artistic tool. She later returned to Norway, where she established herself with a multidisciplinary practice ranging from photography and installation to film, and has received several awards and recognitions for her work.
Her artistic focus centers on personal narratives framed within sociopolitical and gender-related contexts, as exemplified in her well-known project Outside the Binary (2018–2023).
Since 2009, she has held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions at major institutions such as Haus der Photographie/Deichtorhallen in Hamburg, Fotogalerie Wien, Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, and Bomuldsfabriken in Arendal. Since 2015, she has taught at Bilder Nordic School of Photography and Kristiania. She is a contributing photographer for VII Foundation.
