Camilla Jämting is an experimental filmmaker and performance artist from Gothenburg, based in Lofoten in Northern Norway.
Currently, Camilla is active with her debut film, the documentary “Project Dad.” This self-biographical short film explores the complicated relationship between herself, a feminist, and her eccentric father, who is a “pick-up artist.” The film has been screened worldwide and has received several awards: Winner of Best Short at Tromsø IFF 2024, Winner of the Film Critics’ Prize at Grimstad 2024, Winner of the Spark Prize at Grimstad 2024, and the Skårungen Talent Prize at Tromsø IFF 2024. “Project Dad” is now nominated for the Amanda Award (Norwegian Oscars) for Best Short Film 2024.
