Dalia Huerta Cano is a director, cinematographer and editor from Guadalajara, Mexico. She is attracted to art and film, focuses on anatomy, objects, memories and feelings, questions and explores the borders of the human condition. Her films have been screened and awarded at international film festivals around the world such as Morelia Film Festival, DocsMX, Kasseler DokumentarFilm Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, FICUNAM, among others, two of her films were shown at La Semaine de la Critique in Cannes in the special programme of Morelia winner short films. She’s been an alumni at Berlinale Talents and Torino Film Lab.
Her last work as an editor was in the feature Formas de atravesar un territorio, whose international premier was at Locarno Film Festival, followed by IDFA, Morelia Film Festival, La Habana and others.
