Filmed from 2008 to 2023, IN THIS VERY MOMENT portrays Ole and Marte, an Oslo-based middle class couple in their 40s with two children. Their dialogues expands from everyday cackling on each other to them questioning ordinary life, raising children, spiritual exploration, and existential challenges.
With a mixture of brutality and poetry, IN THIS VERY MOMENT explores the fundamental meaning of partnership and provides an insightful picture of the human duality.
Marte Vold is an experienced Norwegian director of photography and documentary director.
Marte’s work has been screened in both galleries and film venues and internationally at film festivals around the world. She co-directed OUT OF NATURE (Toronto and Berlinale), directed TOTEM (screened at several international film festivals, among them New Directors/ New Films in NY) and LETTERS (Busan International Film Festival, nominee to a Dragon Award and winner of Jean Rouch International Film Festival Prix du Patrimoine Culturel Immatériel). She has recently shot Jumana Manna’s WILD RELATIVES and FORAGERS.
