Courtney B Ropp is a United States native and currently resides in Tromsø, NO. They began their film career in the US Army as a Combat and Archival Videographer/Photographer for 6 ½ years, being deployed to Afghanistan and the Pentagon.
Court completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Media at Sierra Nevada University in 2021. They co-founded Teensy Leader Productions in 2020, producing and directing 13 short films respectively.
Over the past year, they have been involved in a number of creative projects in Northern Norway ranging from production coordinator with Stær Productions, youth film workshop mentor at the media center Tvibit, event photography, film production, and developing their own art practice. Court is a proud Auntie, travels with their own coffee, and somehow finds time to learn how to knit.
